Making the Most of Your Appointment
Therapy appointments usually last 45 - 50 minutes. The first session includes an assessment and may last a little longer.
Consultations take place at my therapy practice at NorthStar Counselling & Therapy Centre, 10 Weafer St, Enniscorthy, Co.Wexford, Y21DW64.
There is 2 hour paid parking available on Weafer St, Market Square and adjoining streets. There is also paid parking in Old Dunnes Stores Car Park which is approximately a 2 minute walk to the centre.
Sessions are charged at €80 per appointment and is payable on the day.
24 hour notification of cancellation of appointment is required. A cancellation fee applies outside of this time. Our cancellation policy is discussed at your initial session.
Payments are accepted by debit card or bank transfer.
Therapy is not covered under private health insurance or the general public health service.
Information given during session is maintained to the highest confidentiality. The only exceptions to this are:
In both these instances reporting will not take place without firstly consulting with you the client and details will be given to you as to the steps that need to be taken to ensure the utmost safety of all involved.
Therapy sessions are intended to support clients through psychological distress. I do not enter into any legal procedures. If it is the case that you require evidence of attending therapy I will supply you with the dates and number of sessions attended. Nothing other than this will be supplied for courts/solicitors.
In the case of medical referrals, no details of your case will be disclosed to anyone without your prior written consent.
