Vision Board Workshop

The Best Place to start to achieve your goals and get motivated

· Workshop

Have you lost the motivation to maintain those New Year’s Resolutions you made back in January?? Do you constantly think about the kind of person you want to be? Are you confused about what you want to achieve in life? If you're constantly asking yourself these questions, a Vision Board is the best place to start. It allows you to open yourself up to opportunities to make your dreams actually happen!

What is a Vision Board?
A vision board is a collage of images, words and anything that helps you visualise who you want to be and the life you want to live. Having a vision brings clarity to your dreams and helps you stay focused when you get side-tracked or stressed. It reminds you of what really matters in your life.

What goes on my vision board?
Anything that inspires and motivates you. The purpose of your vision board is to bring everything on it to life. Just think about what your goals are in the following areas: relationships, career and finances, home, travel, personal growth (including spirituality, social life, education) and health.
Your vision board should focus on how you want to feel, not just on things that you want. The more your board focuses on how you want to feel, the more it will come to life. As time goes on you can add to your vision board, perhaps little mementos you pick up at times when you feel a sense of connection or motivation, so then anytime you want to, you can reconnect with the way you felt at those times.

How does it work?
When you create a vision board and place it where you see it often, you essentially end up visualising your dream every day.
Visualisation is one of the most powerful mind exercises you can do. According to the popular book, The Secret, “The law of attraction is forming your entire life experience and it is doing that through your thoughts. When you are visualising, you are emitting a powerful frequency out into the Universe.”
Whether you believe that or not, we know that visualisation works. Olympic athletes use visualisation all the time to improve performance.

A Vision Board is a great tool to help you with Visualisation!!!

Visualisation doesn’t come easy to all of us. While we all can list off the things we don’t want for our lives, getting specific about the things we do want can sometimes be a challenge. For those of us that aren’t visual, trying to hold a mental picture of what we want for 5 minutes a day seems almost impossible! However, having a Vision Board somewhere that you can see it often, provides you with physical pictures that remind you of what your goals are and what you are working towards on a daily basis. It’s a handy tool to have when you encounter challenges and obstacles along the way. Pushing through barriers is easier when you have a visual reminder of why you are putting in the work!

If you would like to experience the benefits of having your own Vision Board, join me on Sunday April 2nd, 2017 from 2pm - 6pm at Enniscorthy Enterprise and Technology Centre.
